Knights of Columbus Scholastic Achievement Awards: (Deadline March 10, 2017)
Five $1000 scholarships are being offered to relatives of members of the Knights of Columbus. Paper applications available in the Guidance office. Please make a copy!

Alice Agney Scholarship for Leadership and Service: (Deadline March 17, 2017)
A $2000.00 scholarship to a graduating senior who is selected based on the student's leadership and service to community, academic achievement, and initiative in overcoming a specific challenge. Visit the Vermont Superintendent's Website for more information.

OMYA Scholarship Program: (Deadline March 20, 2017)
OMYA will award four $2500.00 scholarships to graduating seniors planning to study in the field of science or engineering as it applies to the field of industrial manufacturing and mining. Applicants must be accepted to an accredited college or university. Applications are available in the guidance office.

Clarence F. Birchmore Memorial Scholarship:  (Deadline March 30, 2017) At lest two $500 Awards
Awards will be made on the basis of the recipients volunteer service, an essay, plans for the award, educational or career plans, and academic excellence.  More information and applications are available in the guidance office.

Elks National Foundation Scholarships:
- BPOE #916 Scholarship Program:  (Deadline March 31, 2017)  Provides financial assistance to children and grandchildren of local Elk members.  Scholarships are available to children, step-children, grandchildren, step-grandchildren and legal wards of local Elks.  Member must be in good standing.  Applications are available in the counseling office.

North Country Community Service Award:  (Deadline March 31, 2017)  $300 to student - $200 to charity of students choice
To reward those young people who have worked hard to make a significant positive impact in their community we offer the annual North Country Community Service Award to be given to up to 50 eligible graduating seniors each year.  Submit a Community Service Award Request form to be eligible.

Amy Bindleglass Memorial Scholarship: (Deadline March 31, 2017)
An essay contest offering one $500 and one $200 scholarship for juniors or seniors. Essay topic deals with organ donation. More information can be found in the guidance office or email Info@cdtny.org

Vermont Association of Education Office Professionals Marion T. Wood Scholarship: (Deadline April 1, 2017)
Applicant must intend to continue his/her education in an educational office-related business program and must have completed two or more business education courses (four semesters).  Visit the scholarship website for more information and/or an application.

Ray E. Davison Scholarship (ACFA):  (Deadline April 1, 2017)  Two $500 Awards
In 1991, the Addition County Firefighters Association, Incorporated (ACFA) established an educational scholarship fund to assist students who wish to pursue careers related to the fire service, as well as to assist children of ACFA fire service personnel to pursue postsecondary education.  For more information and an application visit the Addison County Fire Association website.

Vermont American Legion Scholarships Program

The American Legion offers several scholarship programs including the Charles Barber Scholarship ($1,000), the Ray Greenwood Scholarship ($1,500), and ten individual $500 Scholarships. Applications and information can be found at the Vermont American Legion Website.

VT EPSCoR Native American and First Generation Student Scholarships: (Deadline April 3, 2017)

The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund: (Deadline April 3, 2017 @ Noon)
Offering four year renewable scholarships to students with financial need from New England who display academic excellence, a demonstrated sense of service to those around them, good character, and a strong work ethic. Complete information can be found at www.phillips-scholarship.org

Vermont Federal Credit Union Scholarship: (Deadline April 10, 2017)
Four $2,000.00 scholarships will be awarded to students that are Vermont Federal Credit Union members. Applications and details may be found at the VT Federal Union website. 

Girls Night Out Productions Scholarship: 
(Deadline April 10, 2017)  $500 - 1 Award
The co-Founders and Board of Directors announce the 2nd annual scholarship to be awarded to a young woman completing high school or technical school and who plans to continue her education in the Performing or Technical Arts.  Visit Girls Nite Out for more information and an application.

Sons of the American Legion Dennis Comai Scholarship:  (Deadline April 15, 2017) one $1,000 and one $500
Any student who is planning to attend a trade school or technical college and whose grandfather, grandmother, step grandparents, father, stepfather, mother, stepmother, adopted parents or grandparents and brothers or sisters are member of the American Legion Family are welcome to apply for this scholarship.  Applications are available in the guidance office.

Battell Scholarship for Addison County Women: (Deadline April 15, 2017) $500
For female Addison county residents who are unmarried and enrolled in an accredited college anywhere in the U.S. Paper applications are available in the guidance office.

Buster Brush Memorial Scholarship: (Deadline April 17, 2016)
A $1000.00 renewable scholarship in memory of the late Buster Brush. Students should demonstrate compassion, a strong work ethic, school spirit, leadership, community service and a desire to challenge ones self. Visit Brush Memorial Scholarship Fund for more information and to apply.

Student-View Scholarship Program:  (Deadline April 22, 2017) One $4,000 Scholarship, Two $1,000 Scholarships, Ten $500 Scholarships
High school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school are eligible to apply.  Simply log onto the student-view website to fill out an application.  The scholarship will be awarded via a random drawing of all completed applications.

New England Federal Credit Union S.T.E.M Scholarship Program: (Deadline April 30, 2017) Three $3,000 Scholarships

Vermont Golf Association Scholarship: (Deadline May 1, 2017)
The Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Fund will annually determine the number and amount of the scholarships which will be presented each year.  Applications are only available online at the VGA Scholarship website where you will find more information about the scholarship.

Lyric Theatre Company Scholarship: (Deadline May 5,2017) $1,000
A $1,000 scholarship to an area high school senior to help support their interest in pursuing an education in the performing arts. Paper applications are available in the guidance office or you can visit the Lyric Theatre Company website for an application and more information.

For students who demonstrate leadership, academic achievement and community involvement. Applicants must have held an office in student government. National Multiple Sclerosis Society Scholarship Program: (Deadline January 15, 2015)

Green Mountain Athletic Association Scholarship: (Deadline May 1, 2015)
Requirements: Student has been accepted at an accredited two or four year college, has participated in cross country running and/or track events in grades 11 and 12, has maintained a B average in high school, and shows qualities of good citizenship and sportsmanship. University Mall Scholarship of Excellence: (Deadline March 29, 2013)
Each year University Mall awards $25,000 to five area high school seniors. Each student receives $5,000 toward their first year of college. University Mall’s Scholarship of Excellence is designed to be awarded to students who embody excellence in academics, leadership, and community service. 2016 GE - Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program: (Deadline January 7, 2016)
This national program awards, college scholarships to high school seniors who embody the characteristics of President Ronald Reagan at school, in the community, in the workplace, and at home. They are looking for students with Leadership, Drive, Integrity and Citizenship. Recipients receive $10,000 renewable scholarships - up to $40,000 per student. The George Coleman Scholarship: (Deadline March 15, 2016)
Each year, the New England Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers awards scholarships to three high school graduates who will be enrolling in a NEACRAO member institution for the fall semester of that year. Each high school graduate who is selected is awarded $2,000*. Each recipient of the scholarship is selected from candidates who are recommended by New England secondary school guidance professionals. Shaw-Worth Memorial Scholarship: (Deadline March 25, 2016)
This scholarship is established under the aegis of The Humane Society of the United States, assists students who demonstrate a deep respect for animals and people. Each year the scholarship is awarded to a New England high school senior who has made a meaningful contribution to animal protection. The award consists of tuition assistance of up to $3,500, which may be divided amon multiple recipients. Each award is given as payment to the college, university, or specialized training academy at which the recipient will be matriculating. The VT EPSCoR Center for Workforce Development and Diversity (CWDD) works to cultivate and prepare a diverse science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) workforce in Vermont by inspiring students to enter STEM careers. Winona Smith Scholarship: (Deadline April 30, 2016)
A Winona Smith Scholarship grant for $1000.00 will be awarded to a male or female student in his or her senior year of high school who has demonstrated an interest in civic participation and community service, who has a need for financial aid, and, who is recommended by a teacher. Applications are available in the guidance and office and can also be requested by e-mail to sgg7@comcast.net. Applications should be submitted by email or by regular mail. Ceres Continuous Harvest Scholarship:  (May 1, 2016)
This scholarship is named after the Roman goddess of agriculture and fertility.  A statue of Ceres adorns the dome of our Statehouse in Montpelier. She is a symbol of our hopes for a bountiful and continuing harvest.  She personifies our wish for a continued tradition in Vermont of a community that respects, cherishes, and nurtures the land we all live on.  In 2016, two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded.  If you plan to pursue a career in a sustainable agriculture or environmental practice that will help to preserve the Vermont landscape and quality-of-life, please apply for this scholarship with this Ceres Scholarship application. Your course of study could include such fields as natural resource management, forestry, environmental science, wildlife biology, ecological agriculture, sustainable landscape, horticulture, green building and community design, animal or veterinary science, dairy science, etc.

The American Legion High School Oratorical Program: (Deadline November 30, 2016)
NOW is the time to consider participating in the American Legion (AL) Oratorical Contest, a Constitutional Speech competition. The Vermont Department winner receives $1000 award. National winner, top 3, receive scholarships of $18,000, $16,000 and $14,000 respectively. All other national participants receive $1500 - $3000. Elks National Foundation Scholarships:
- Emergency Educational Grants:  Children of deceased or totally disabled Elks members are eligible to apply  The Elks member must have been in good standing for at least one year at the time of death or disability.  To request an application call (773) 755-4732 or email scholarship@elks.org.
- Most Valuable Student Scholarship: (Deadline November 30, 2016) Must be a high school senior and related to an Elks member. Five hundred scholarships are awarded for four years. Visit enf.elks.org/mvs for more information.
- Legacy Awards: (Deadline February 3, 2017) These are $4000 scholarships offered to children and grandchildren of Elks members.  Visit enf.elks.org/leg for more information.
- Roger J. Sheridan Memorial Scholarship:  (Deadline February 1, 2017)  Seniors of a high school with plans to enter college to undertake a career in Physical Education, Physical Therapy, Athletic Trainer, Sports Medicine or Sports Science may enter this competition.  Two scholarships will be awarded  annually, one each to a boy and a girl.  The amount will be determined by the trustees of the scholarship but will be in excess of $500.00.  Applications are available in the counseling office.
- BPOE #916 Scholarship Program:  (Deadline March 31, 2017)  Provides financial assistance to children and grandchildren of local Elk members.  Scholarships are available to children, step-children, grandchildren, step-grandchildren and legal wards of local Elks.  Member must be in good standing.  Applications are available in the counseling office.

Vermont/United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship: (Deadline January 28, 2017)
Any student who applies for this scholarship will see the scholarships first go to the state organization. Each state organization decide which two applications get forwarded for national judging. Each year, the U.S. JCI Senate Foundation grants $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited post secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. St. Andrew's Society of Vermont Scholarship Program: (Deadline February 15, 2017)
Academic and Cultural grants of up to $1000.00 for graduating seniors or students already enrolled in college. Academic awards have a March 20 deadline. Applications available at The St. Andrew's Society of Vermont website.

New England Federal Credit Union Nursing Scholarships: (Deadline February 28, 2017)

Journalism Education Foundation of New England: (Deadline March 3, 2017)
Will award a number of $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in journalism.  Interested students can download the scholarship application from the New England Newspaper and Press Association website.


Hood Sportsmanship Scholarship

Presented by Hood Milk, the Hood Sportsmanship Scholarship will award three $5000 scholarships to students in each of the New England states. Criteria include status as a high school senior, participation in a varsity sport, plan on attending a two or four year accredited college, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and performed volunteer work in the community.
