For Hannaford Career Center

Wednesday, 12/7

All Day student  and Morning Vocational Students will be going to the Hannaford Center.

Afternoon Students will not be transported to Hannafords

AND

All Day Students will be transported back to Mt. Abe, afternoon students will not have class at the  Hannaford Career Center.

All students that usually attend the career center in the afternoon PLEASE make arrangements for transportation home upon arriving back at Mt. Abe. Any student that can’t get home please see Mr. Ford.

MT. ABE SPRING MUSICAL

MT. ABE SPRING MUSICAL:

RENT

Interested in the spring musical. Come today after school at 3:45pm to the Band Room to learn the audition pieces. If you came to the informational you are welcome to come back and have a second learning opportunity. No Middle School students will be allowed to audition due to the mature nature of the show.


Auditions for the spring musical are Wednesday, December 7th at 5pm. Please be on-time or early as we need to register you for the auditions. Questions please see Mr. Bouvier.
Dates for the musical are March 23-25, 2017

Tuesdays & Fridays

Mrs. Fitz-Gerald’s Room 2008

All students in Grades 9 - 12 are invited to explore and enrich their math experiences through the Math Club, sponsored by Math League!  We will meet for about an hour after school in Mrs. Fitz-Gerald's room #2008 on the following dates to watch videos, discuss ideas, and explore related problems on the topic of the day.  Come and learn about the following - you don't need to know anything about the topics ahead of time!  Snacks will be provided too!

Tuesday November 1st:  The Factor & Remainder Theorems - work more easily with algebraic fractions, quadratics & factoring

Tuesday November 8th:  More time with the topics listed above

Friday November 11th: Exponential & Logarithmic functions

Tuesday November 15th: Quadrilaterals and Polygons

Friday November 18th: Parametrics

Tuesday November 22nd: Problem Solving on the above topics

Tuesday November 29th: Problem Solving on the above topics


Thursday December 1st: Math League Meet with the Greater Burlington Math League - all are welcome to participate!  


HOBY Leadership Conference

Congratulations to Will Martin and Elizabeth Siminitus for being selected to represent Mt. Abe at the HOBY Leadership Conference.  Will and Elizabeth join a long list of Mt. Abe alum that have attended this conference.  We are proud that Mt. Abe has  sent students each year since 1988 and that we will be represented in 2017!.
