Dress Code for Mt Abe School Dances

New Dress Code for School Dances



Appropriate Dress for Mt Abe School Dance Includes:


  • Strapless tops / dresses


  • Tops / dresses with spaghetti straps


  • Off-the-shoulder tops / dresses


  • Backless tops / dresses


  • Tops / Dresses may show some of the midriff as long as the belly button is not visible.


  • Outfits may have sheer fabric (including lace) as long as there is opaque fabric underneath (such as a camisole or sheath) that covers from “fist-length” up to the acceptable options for tops (strapless, off-the-shoulder and so on).


  • In general, all private parts must be well covered, meaning that tops and bottoms for males and females must not be showing even as the person moves, lifts arms and so on.


Regular Mt Abe Dress Code Still In Force at School Dances


  • Dresses / skirts must be at least “fist-length”


  • Clothing must cover undergarments.  Bra straps may show.


  • No depiction of prohibited items or activities (weapons, tobacco, tobacco use, alcohol, alcohol use, drugs, drug use, Confederate flag, or illegal activity)
