Ann Pollender

Biography:
I have been teaching and coaching field hockey at Mt Abraham UHS since the fall of 1996.  Before teaching at Mt. Abe I was a special educator and coach at Middlebury Union High School.  Prior to that I taught and coached at the Forman School in Conn.  I grew up in the big city of Vergennes.  I left New England to earn a BS in Health Education from Marietta College in Ohio and then completed my Masters in Special Education from UVM. I now live at the base of Mt. Abe, in beautiful Lincoln.  Beyond teaching I enjoy all the seasons, playing outside and spending time inside reading and knitting. I truly believe that teaching Health, and other related classes at MAUHS, is the best job there is!
